Worm/human hybrids system shock9/8/2023 ![]() Rumblers are half-annelid, meaning you would have to take them on with Annelid mode, meaning reduced damage, or take them on Human mode, meaning potential to hurt yourself. Swarms are pretty scarce(and harmless, just a few seconds lost), not worth taking a weapon just to destroy them. I don't play with mods, so those buffs aren't available. Let's ignore that a Modified 1 TC-11 gains a bugged +100% damage towards Frag grenades. I mean, if you're only looking at raw numbers, then sure, VP sucks. SCP even adds a handful of buffs like beakers giving 50% more worms, and the VP gaining a Damage-Over-Time poison effect. More overall ammo in the game, made even better with Modified 2's ammo cost. ![]() Can be manually detonated (the only way to destroy Annelid Swarms) ![]() Now these useless anti-tox items aren't looking all that useless anymore. In the event you DO blast yourself on accident, as you yourself has said in the first point, you have Toxin Hypos at your disposal. Concerning the VP, the only risk is Human mode, which isn't even that much of a risk considering you're likely only to fire at Shotgun / Grenade hybrids.
